During the fall of 2023 and the spring of 2024, Nordic SeaFarm participated in a competition in global entrepreneurship with a local preliminary round in Stockholm and the main final in Shenzhen, China. After Nordic SeaFarm placed in the top 3 in the local competition in Stockholm in November, the company was invited to participate in the main final in Shenzhen, southern China, in April. CEO Simon Johansson and Sales Manager Alexander Klimt represented the company and managed to win (!) first place in the ‘Marine Economy’ category, amidst tough competition from companies from Singapore, Canada, and Germany, among others. The win meant prize money for the company and generated both good PR and provided several local commercial and technical contacts.
